Places of interest in Tyrol for your dream winter holiday

State capital Innsbruck

A special bonus of the Stubaital is its proximity to Innsbruck. In only a few minutes by car you reach the Tyrolean capital with the numerous sights such as the Goldene Dachl, the Hofburg or the Alpenzoo, just to name a few!
Driving time: approx. 30 Min.

Our secret tip: The Stubaital Railway takes you from the Stubaital directly to Maria-Theresien-Straße, Innsbruck's main shopping street and the heart of the city. Experience the clash of opposites during the short drive; from the mountain valley directly into the city.

Telfes Bird of Prey Park

The Bird of Prey Park in Telfes is situated on an unusual site with a beautiful view of the Stubaital. Here you can observe European species of birds of prey. The highlight of the day in the Bird of Prey Park in Telfes is the flight demonstration at 15:00. The park is open from mid-May to mid-October.

Schwazer Silberbergwerk (Schwazer Silver Mine)

The silver from the silver mine was the most important source of income for the Tyrolean princes. Experience up close what it was like 500 years ago when more than 10,000 miners searched for silver and copper and made Tyrol one of the richest countries in Europe.

Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds)

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens are a glittering world of crystals. Inside the “Giant”, the exhibition building in the form of a giant face, there are underground chambers of wonder with a multifaceted play of shimmering colours and forms. Look forward to a fascinating experience for your senses.

Bergisel Ski Jump and THE TYROL PANORAMA

The imposing Bergisel Ski Jump overlooking the provincial capital Innsbruck was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Architecture in 2002. A worthwhile destination for holidaymakers in Tyrol is the interesting museum THE TYROL PANORAMA with Kaiserjägermuseum (Imperial Hunter Museum) and the Panorama Café on the Bergisel throughout the year.
